Best Faroe Islands hotels on a budget.
Giljanes Hostel and Camping, Sandavágur.
Taking into account that there are no such things as budget hotels in Faroe, Giljanes Hostel and camping is with no doubt one of the most affordable accommodations on the island.
Situated in Sandavágur, the accommodation features a shared kitchen and a shared lounge for guest. They also offer free Wi-fi.
The place is very clean, got lots of power sockets and plenty of hot water.
The location is very convenient- close to bus stops, nice trails and a little charming cafe in Sandavagur.
One thing to notice though is that breakfast is not provided.
Vestmanna Guesthouse, Vestmanna.
Situated in Vestmanna, Vestmanna Guesthouse has a garden, shared lounge, terrace, and free WiFi. Staff on site can also arrange airport transfers.
This place is super clean and comfortable in a great location to explore the island. There are plenty of bathrooms and showers to not have to to wait.
There are also a couple of cafe’s in Vestmanna and is close to the tourist information centre.
The Atlantic view guest house, Sandavagur.
For us, The Atlantic view guest house is one of the best Faroe Islands hotels in terms of value for money.
With an exquisite location, a spacious and clean apartment and stunning views from the room, you won’t want to leave this apartment.
On top of it, the owners are really friendly and helpful people. Dinner or lunch is available under request.

Mid-range Faroe Islands hotels.
Gjaargardur Guesthouse, Gjogv.
This charming eco-friendly guesthouse, surrounded by a stunning natural landscape, is located on the north of Eysturoy. It offers free Wi-Fi and free private parking. Rooms also have private bathrooms with a shower.

Best High-End Faroe Islands Hotels
VisitHOMES Tórshavn Aparthotel, Tórshavn.
It offers a great choice for visiting the capital and also to use as a base for exploring the island.
The apartments are big and very tidy with everything you can need. There is also a big supermarket only 2 minutes away.
If you would like to discover the area, hiking, cycling, and fishing are possible in the surroundings.
Hotel Føroyar, Tórshavn.
The natural grass roof of this peaceful, design hotel matches the surrounding green countryside.
All rooms in the main building overlook Nólsoy Fjord and central Tórshavn, which is 2 km away by foot.
They offer traditional Faroese food and international dishes at the hotel’s restaurant, Gras. Also, an excellent buffet breakfast is served from 7 am.
Guests can enjoy panoramic views of the fjord, city and surrounding greenery.
Although there are not a lot of hotels in Faroe Islands, there are many good options for all kind of travelers.
